Hi, I’m Em!

Thanks for stopping by, I am so glad you’re here.

I am a Chicago based actor and singer who has been lucky enough to spend the last few years doing my favorite thing, traveling the world. That being said, if you need someone who is willing to travel for a project, I am definitely your girl! Some of the coolest places I have gotten to experience are Norway, Iceland, Croatia, Bermuda, Columbia, and Scotland, to name a few. I have seen over 40 countries in the last 5 years and am all the better for it.

Some other parts of my life besides traveling that bring me joy are time with my fam, writing, arranging flowers (fun fact: I used to work as a florist!), baking, and interacting with all different sorts of art.

My Art…

Speaking of art, that’s probably why you’re here! I really love a rehearsal room and creating on my feet in collaboration with others. My ultimate goal is to be a part of and encourage a space where spontaneity can occur. You’ll find I’m full of ideas and quick with making choices; I am not shy to try.

I have a special fondness for comedy and the catalogue of Stephen Sondheim. (Shout out to Bernadette’s Witch and the PBS recording of Into the Woods, more widespread access like this for live theatre please!) Roles I’ve always wanted a chance at range from Abigail Williams to Dot to Natalie Goodman to Princess Anna to being a super-swing for the four March sisters. Variety and challenge are two aspects I am always chasing with my art.
